Born and bred. Forty years in.

Carpenter Earthmoving is a family-owned business that has spent 40 years working the same country. Neil knows where the ground goes hard, which tracks wash out after rain, and how long a job like yours really takes, because he has almost certainly done one down the road.

  • Family-owned, working the Lockyer Valley and surrounding areas
  • Backhoe and truck, so the machine and the cartage arrive together
  • Bulk water delivered, whether or not you are home
  • Turns up when he says he will, and tells you what it will cost

A backhoe beside heaps of freshly turned soil on a lawn in front of a farm shed

No job was ever too large, too small or too difficult.

That is a customer's line, not ours, and it is the whole idea. A culvert, a trench, a dam, a load of gravel or a tank of water. Ring Neil, tell him what you need moved, and he will tell you straight whether he can do it and what it will cost.

What turns up at the gate.

Level 01The backhoeLoader on the front, backhoe on the back. It digs the trench, cuts the drain, cleans out the dam and then pushes the spoil where you want it, without a second machine on site.
Level 02The tip truckThe machine floats in on the truck and the spoil goes out on it. Same trip for the topsoil, the road gravel and the rubbish, which keeps the cartage bill honest.
Level 03The water truckBulk water for house tanks, troughs and pools. Regular deliveries or a one-off, and it can be done while you are out.

Questions people actually ask.

Not covered here? Ring or message Neil on 0468 357 698.

What sort of work do you take on?

Earthmoving and excavation, grading, site preparation, land clearing, trenching and drainage, ponds and waterscapes, topsoil and road gravel delivery, animal and livestock burial, and bulk water delivery by water truck. If it involves moving dirt or carting water on a rural block, ask.

Do you deliver water?

Yes. Bulk water delivery is a big part of what Carpenter Earthmoving does and always has been. Water is carted by truck to house tanks, troughs and pools, on a regular run or as a one-off. Plenty of customers are not home when it arrives, and that is fine.

What areas do you cover?

The Lockyer Valley and surrounding areas. Forty years of it. If you are near the edge of that and not sure, give Neil a ring and he will tell you straight away.

How do I get a price?

Call or message Neil with what you need done and roughly where. Estimates can be given online or over the phone for straightforward work, and for anything bigger he will come and look before quoting. No obligation either way.
